Chardonnay grapes were grown in outstanding vineyards throughout California, primarily in Monterey County appellation where cool breezes from the Pacific Ocean slow down ripening and extend hang times. These unique conditions ripen the grapes perfectly, creating wellbalanced, flavorful wines.
