2019 Winery Selection Viognier

The winter rainfall was average, with about 15 inches, and provided good soil moisture profile going into early spring. Budbreak started the last week of February, mostly in younger blocks, with the remaining blocks popping out mid-March. Verasion started a little bit later than normal, towards the end of July. The weather quickly returned to normal with moderate day temperatures and cool nights throughout the remainder of the harvest. The quality of fruit was outstanding, resulting in wines with beautiful color, great structure, round mouthfeel, and balanced acidity.
