The winter rainfall was average, with about 15 inches, and provided good soil moisture profile going into early spring. Budbreak started the last week of February, mostly in younger blocks, with the remaining blocks popping out mid-March. Veraison took place at the end of July. Summer was followed by moderately warm days temperatures and cool nights, which provided for a longer hang time and ripening period.
