Our 2018 Estate Pinot Noir opens with aromas of black cherries, cedar, warm vanilla, toast and hints of forest floor. Soft tannins and a silky texture greet the palate of this medium body and round mouthfeel of cherry, currant and tones of sage.

The Hook Vineyard is the farthest south of Hahn’s four SLH vineyards, the Hook vineyard is the least affected by the cooling influence of winds from Monterey Bay. Warmer temperatures earlier in the afternoon and consistent sun exposure speed ripening and yield rich, opulent flavors. This unique micorclimate leads to nuanced aromasof red berries and cherry cream soda accompanied by a lively structure on the palate showcasing brisk tannins, smooth acidity, and a savory spiced finish.
