full-bodied on the palate, the wine bursts with flavors of blackberry and
spiced herb. Great mouthfeel with lingering soft tannins lead to a long
finish with hints of leather and tobacco.

Sourced from Lodi, these Zinfandel vines are over forty years old. A perfect spring and early bud break/veraison coupled with typical daytime temperatures showed a near perfect growing season with warm to hot weather leading up to harvest. That consistency has led to an incredible harvest for this robust wine.
