The 2016 growing season proved to be another dry and sunny year. A perfect spring led to early bud break and veraison, coupled with warm daytime temperatures and accompanying winds, led to another incredible harvest for the central coast. Warmer-than-normal temperatures of the Pacific Ocean/Monterey Bay led to warmer nighttime temperatures causing elegant acids and earlier ripening.
