The grapes for this Cabernet Sauvignon grow in outstanding vineyards planted throughout Monterey County. After harvesting the fruit, we barrel-ferment it in French oak to enhance the wine’s mouthfeel and contribute a subtle, spicy aroma. We then age this Cabernet in French oak (60% new).
Inviting red cherry and currant jam aromas complement notes of vanilla and caramel. Chewy tannins frame bright cherry and berry flavors that carry through the long, smooth finish.
